Frenchman Samuel Dumoulin won the third stage of the Tour de France and frenchman Romain Feillu finish third on the flat 208-kilometer (129-mile) stage from Saint-Malo to Nantes to claim the overall leader position.
This is a great moment for France, as this is the first time since Cyril Dessel in 2006 than a rider from the home country to wear the yellow jersey.
Feillu is no amateur, as last year he won the Tour of Britain, and this time he’s ready to win the 95th edition of the Tour de France, the most famous and acclaimed competition in cycling world wide.
The frenchman will have to deal with a couple of professional road racing cyclists in order to win the Tour, as Italian Paolo Longo Borghini is second in the overall general classification, while American William Frischkorn is third, if he can manage to stay at the top of the table, the french people will have alot to celebrate when the Tour is over.
