The Hornets are a team that has climbed their way to the top of the Western Conference with a low profile, and they are trying to prove wrong those who judge them or don’t give them that much credit as a team that can compete for the championship.
"We're a hungry basketball team. We're trying to prove people wrong" Said David West, who finished with 35 points and led New Orleans to their latest victory yesterday against the Pacers, who are now without CEO Donnie Walsh.
Also for New Orleans, Chris Paul finished with 31 points and team mate Peja Stojakovic added 16, while for the Pacers, Danny Granger leaded with 26 and Mike Dunleavy and Shawne Williams both had 17 for Indiana, who are in the battle with the Hawks for the last playoff spot of the Eastern Conference.
This is the Hornets fourth straight and it helped them to keep the best record (48-21) in the West, they are also matching the Lakers for the top spot in the West.
