Celtics signed Cassell

The 15 year NBA veteran Sam Cassell is finally a Celtic, much rumors had run over the past few months about the interest of Boston to make it with his services, Cassell was asking the Clippers to release his contract so he could sign with a team that had chances of make it to the playoffs, and so they did.

This is the 8^th NBA team that Cassell plays with, including the Houston Rockets with whom he started and with whom he won his first championship ring out of the two he has. So at age 38, Cassell is looking to finish his run in the league with at least one more ring, and to play with Kevin Garnett, his old teammate with the Twolves, and with Ray Allen (Bucks), is a great deal of advantage for both him and the team.

So Sam Cassell has the experience, and still have some fresh air on his lungs, as this season he has had games of 32 and 33 points, which is not bad for a veteran like himself.

With his addition, the Celtics are truly the most competitive team in the league by far, since most teams have one or two important figures, but the Celtics are a compact unity of solid quality, every single starter is well respected by rivals and fans couldn’t ask for more.
